La Factory era lo studio di Andy Wahrol a New York (prima sulla 47esima e poi al 33 di Union Square) nel quale amava circondarsi di un giro di artisti, scrittori, drag gueen, muscisti ed altre celebrità. Siamo negli anni '60 in un loft dove l'arte è di casa.

The Factory was Andy Wahrol's studio in New York (before at 231 east 47th and then 33 Union Square) where he was sorrounded by artists, writers, drag queen, musicians and other celebrities. We are in the sixties in a loft full of art.

Conosciuta anche come la Silver Factory (fabbrica d'argento) da chi la frequentava, lo studio era coperto -anche l'ascensore - da vernice d'argento, specchi rotti e fogli di alluminio, decorato da Billy Name il fotografo della factory. Spesso Andy portava anche palloni d'argento da liberare nella stanza.

The Factory was also known as the Silver Factory. The studio was covered - even the elevator - with tin foil, fractured mirrors and silver paint, decorated by Billy Name, who was Factory photographer. Warhol was often bringing in silver balloons to leave them in the air.

Inutile dire che le feste alla Factory erano molto.. strane e piene di.. droga, anfetamine per l'esattezza.

We know that Factory's parties were really.. strange and full of... amphetamines.

Lo stile era assolutamente "decadente" pieno di soldi, fama e eccessi
